Welcome to our consumer guide to the Soil Association's rules for organic farming and processed food and non-food products. It is aimed at members of the public who are interested in finding out more about our rules.

The Soil Association not only offers certification for farmers and growers but also food processors, packers, retailers, caterers, textile producers, health and beauty manufacturers and importers in the UK and internationally.

This document is not to be used by Soil Association licensees as a substitute for the 'Soil Association organic standards'.
